For the past few weeks, I’ve been brainstorming menus that encapsulate simplicity and ease.
For a while now, I’ve been yearning for the kind of dinners that are seemingly cooked on a whim with ingredients that you just so happen to have on hand. Home-style, a tad bit chaotic, and incredibly simple.
I was having trouble figuring out the best time to share said menu and then I recently received one simple request: a recipe for just a simple, basic, big bowl of pasta (I’d include the direct comment, but I can’t find it for the life of me)…
…and that was all I needed.
So here you go. A menu that’s simple, prep that’s easy, and most importantly, a recipe for just a simple, basic, big bowl of pasta.

We have a few recipes that are recycled from last week, so you might have some ingredients left over that you don’t need to source (balsamic glaze, pecans, burrata, etc.).
I recently started sourcing my burrata from Costco and I highly recommend it if you’re near a Costco.
