A Week for Picky Eaters...
featuring Garlic-Glazed Crispy Chicken, Parmesan-Herb Angel Hair Pasta, & more
We’re in the process of renovating our fixer-upper home (i.e., making it actually livable), and while our kitchen is a project for a later date (since we’re focusing on function rather than design at the moment), here’s what it currently looks like:
Each week, there has been (what feels like) a new problem we have to tackle: leaking gas lines, kitec piping, back-graded sewage lines, a faulty septic system, you name it.
Thankfully, my brother and sister-in-law recently moved to Sacramento and have been generous enough to let us stay with them while our house is in shambles. Ironically, my sister-in-law is an incredibly picky eater, which has been nothing but helpful in challenging me to create foods that are palatable to all.
When creating a menu for this week, she suggested I create an array of dishes that are palatable to the pickiest of eaters (i.e., her). So that’s exactly what I did.
