In honor of the 2024 Olympics being officially underway and this newsletter being our 18th week (another Ninth Edition) of Restaurant Dropout, I figured it would be fun to bring back a couple of my all-time favorite dishes and elements (the veterans), while also creating space for new ones (the rookies).

While I love all of Restaurant Dropout’s dishes, there have certainly been a few that stand out when I reflect on previous weeks. And, since we’re highlighting our veteran dishes, it only felt right to bring back one of my all-time favorite dishes I’ve ever created: Bruschetta Chicken.

It’s the perfect combination of flavors and textures (especially when topped with a little pinch of flaky salt) AND it’s an all-star in my books.

However, like all national teams at the Olympics, there are some newbies…and they deserve some of the spotlight, too.
