If you ever want to get even crazier and do another subscription for breakfast and lunch prep.. I would die! <3 I have never craved veggies more in my life! This has truly changed my eating habits and mindset around food. I appreciate you and your one (and a half) man team! If you ever need remote help from Texas, let me know!
I'm a paid member but week 62 is not letting me click any of the meals as if it's not hyperlinked. Week 63 (may 23rd) is also not up. Can I have clarification? Thanks. Love your meal ideas
Just fixed it! The latests posts are always pinned, so you totally have access to it on the homepage, and at the top of this page, but I must've messed up when updating on Friday. Week 62 was May 23rd, and 63 will be out in a couple days on May 30th.
While I appreciate all the time and work you put into your content(I really really do) I am on SSDI and right now I have $4 to last until Feb 3. I probably could do a few of your recipes bc they look easily accessible and with affordable ingredients, but you, (and others not just you) charge so much a month, I guess I will try to continue to figure out what it is I'm watching while you actually show is your cook, even if steps get left out on purpose to prevent this type of thing. I appreciate you taking the time to film at least what I can see on insta. Thanks
There’s a girl on YouTube that does grocery shopping for a weeks worth of meals on a budget like I’ve seen her stretch $10 for a weeks worth of meals. I’m sure a quick search on YouTube will help you out
Today was my first ingredient prep day. I started with all the ingredients and a semi/clean kitchen. I did all the prep, including cooking the chicken and rinsing the black beans.
It took me 4 hours, including the time to clean the kitchen properly wiping down the counters, putting dirty dishes in dishwasher, handwashing the blades I used, and mopping the kitchen floor.
My question is: is that a fairly standard time investment for this system?
It really depends on the week, and your individual speed. I've personally found that you will get faster as you get the hang of the process as well. In the early weeks it's totally normal to be moving a little slower as it's a lot of information to take in.
In our latest posts we've been including difficulty levels to the prep list, and linked in the body of the posts under "Additional Prep Notes" there's a link to our general breakdown of what to expect from those difficulty levels (just for future reference - I've included that breakdown below). We also provide Time Savers whenever possible on the Essentials Lists which are designed to help you cut down on prep time.
Taking all of that into consideration our Prep can range from:
Easy: 1.5 to 2 hours + a light amount of produce/sauces + zero dough prep
Normal: 2 to 3.5 hours + an average amount of produce/sauces + dough prep
Hard: 3.5+ hours + a heavy amount of produce/sauces + dough prep + frying + additional produce prep (like fire-roasting bell peppers, pickling, etc)
If you're using the app: select your profile pic on the top right corner of the home page> select Restaurant Dropout. That will get you to our homepage. From there, there's a little search button on the top right of the screen. If you select that and type in the keywords you're looking for it'll pull up post that include those words.
If you're using a computer, on this Menu page, use the find function (cmd+F on mac, or Ctrl + F on PC) to search for the keywords you're looking for.

I pay $5.42/month for Restaurant Dropout. That’s really not much… if you can’t do it, it’s ok. You can find recipes yourself online for free
