My 8 year old is the pickiest of my three kids - It’s gotten a lot better over the past couple of years, but new foods can still be really hard for her to even want to try. She LOVED the cumin-tomato braised chicken, raved and raved about it! It felt like such a win.
Bless you for bringing back the spiced feta meatballs! I had a dinner party planned with some friends and decided to utilize those. Had them made and ready to go when the flu derailed our plans. Looking forward to using them in a different way this week!
So excited for this week :) what do you guys think about subbing quinoa for the pearl cous cous? I have a bunch of quinoa in my pantry but not sure if it would work well with that dish.
Hello everyone! I made her sourdough English muffins yesterday and just want to share a note here: I doubled the recipe and was short about 98g of starter so I used cold discard out of the fridge and it worked like a charm. Still had a great rise. Happy baking :)
The couscous is our favorite thing I’ve made in a while. I wanted more of a coconut flavor after the curried veg with fish, so I carmelized some dedicated coconut with sugar and salt to top it with and it is so good!
This menu is great! We loved the curry with seabass!
I'm wondering if there is a way that I can click into the lists or recipes (on my phone) without having to download them as a PDF or save to my google drive. My google drive is getting full of documents all with the same name. I'm trying to avoid printing as well. This might just be a me & substack problem!
I have the app installed on my iPhone and it is up to date. When I tap my only options are to save as pdf or save to google drive. It works, but I’d love to see a fix!
I used to have issues with substack but it seems to work better now. Do you have the app downloaded on your phone? It should just open the recipes into your browser when you tap on it
I keep a batch of cumin-tomato sauce and feta meatballs (I use vegan feta and plantbased grounded 'meat') in my freezer. It is perfect as party food, to suprise unexpected visitors and as comfort food with spagetti. Thanks for the great recipe, Zoë
Can't wait for this but the Asian in me in seeing "don't wash your rice" as blasphemy
Do you have a sourdough recipe?
Anyone else not able to play the videos?

I think it could work with some instruction modifications. I think I'd cook separately and use it as a bed for curry

I used up all my curry base on day one and didn't realise I needed to save some for the couscous dish... What should I do?
Is it possible to sub red curry paste for curry powder? I just realized I’m out!

Does the same on my (android) phone using either website or app and I haven't found a way around it.

This was such a good week and introduced some new flavors in my house. Excited to run this one again next week!
